Family owned and locally operated since it was built. The Loggerhead Inn offers travelers an affordable, comfortable, and restful stay. The existing main structure was built in 1960 and the Loggerhead Inn name was established in 1994. "The Horseshoe" , or the interior quad of the Inn was built in the early 1940's. It served as housing for military personnel until the land opened up for sale in the late 40's.
Loggerhead Incorporated came to life in 1994, since then our ownership group has maintained affordability and comfort.
Our rates have not gone up here at the Inn since 2006.

You are close enough to both historical cities for a short day trip but far enough to avoid their traffic. The peaceful "island time" environment that the locals maintain on Topsail (pronounced "topsul"), make it a perfect family vacation destination. Easy to find from Interstate 40 or Interstate 95. Both NC Hwy 210 and NC Hwy 50 will land you in Surf City and Topsail Island

We have a friendly and area knowledgeable resident Manager on site, who will gladly cater to your every request.
(Office Hours are from 9am to 10pm during the "on Season")
